Burn-In Stick

A Burn-In Stick is typically used to fill deep gashes, scratches and holes. First clean loose wood and debris from the area, and then use a hot knife (either electric or a knife heated over a flame) to melt the stick (starting at the end of the stick) into the area to be filled. Once the area is filled, apply Touch-Up Burn Balm to the undamaged area around the repaired area to protect the finish while the hot knife is used to smooth out the repair.
