Founded in Tokyo in 1949 and still made in the city, Life Stationery makes luxurious fountain pen friendly paper in a variety of styles that I absolutely love. This particular paper is inspired by vintage airmail correspondence paper. While it holds fountain pen ink quite well, it’s extremely light and translucent - basically onionskin paper. Most people will use one side of each page, but given how lightweight it is, back in the day you could mail a multi-page letter and still have the postage cost less than a single sheet of heavier stock!
