Genuine Jobe replacement back nut flange for the 1 inch long tail, part DTP6100. The back nut is what clamps the tail through the trough wall and holds the valve square. If the old one is cracked, cross threaded or seized, replacing it is far cheaper than replacing the tail or the valve. Replace the seal washer at the same time. A new nut on a flattened washer will still weep, and the washer costs almost nothing.
