This Namiki Chinkin pen was created by a collaboration of maki-e artists (Kokkokai) in Japan. The pen matches the Yukari size but with a flat top, has an 18k gold nib (#10 size), fills via Pilot/Namiki cartridge/converter (a CON-70 is included), and comes packaged in a velvet-lined wooden box. The Chinkin Collection is made up of fountain pens which use "Chinkin (Gold Inlay)", one of lacquer ware techniques that Japan boasts to the world on a par with Maki-e.
