Askar 1.0x Flattener for 80ED (F80ED)
SharpStar · sold by All-Star Telescope Canada · CAD 265.00 · in stock
The 1.0x flattener does not change the native focal ratio-the Askar 80ED remains at f/7. The Askar 80ED 1.0x flattener features a triplet lens design, including one piece of ED glass, optimized for the APS-C frame. It weighs 0.42 kg. The back focus is a standard 55mm from the M48 threaded surface. The flattener corrects field curvature and coma, resulting in a flatter field and sharper, rounder stars at the edges.
